Get Involved

Morris-Jumel Mansion is the recipient of two prestigious awards for volunteerism: the Mayor’s Volunteer Service Award for an outstanding individual volunteer, and the MONY Volunteer Incentive Program Award for the best new volunteer program. Our volunteers are a small, tightly knit group of dedicated people, whose passion for culture, community and history shine through in all that they do. Whatever your talents and skills, there is an opportunity for you to contribute in a meaningful way at the Morris-Jumel Mansion. If you are an individual who enjoys sharing your love of history, architecture, and the decorative arts with visitors, connecting with other volunteers and staff members who share similar interests, exploring historic sites and museums during volunteer outings, and attending museum events free, please call today to speak to a staff member or to request an application.
