There's always something new at Manhattan's oldest house

Lady J's Social Club

 June 2nd, 2016 8pm-Midnight

Inspired by Duke Ellington’s quote proclaiming the Morris-Jumel Mansion the jewel of sugar hill, the Museum's Spring 2016 fundraising event will transform the Mansion and Roger Morris Park into the hottest jazz speakeasy since the roaring 20s. At the Mansion's on-site gala, guests will enjoy trying their luck at a variety of vintage casino games while listening to live music from this iconic time in American history. Throughout the night raffle prizes will be awarded with the evening culminating in a grand raffle not to be missed! This event will also serve as the unveiling of recent conservation work throughout the Museum. Proceeds from this event will support the Museum's dynamic and diverse array of programming. The event is presented in partnership with the New York Restoration Project (NYRP).

Morris-Jumel Mansion is a proud member of the Historic House Trust of New York City and partner of the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation.

Events are supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, in partnership with City Council and Borough President, Gale Brewer and Councilman, Ydanis Rodriguez.
