Lady J's Social Club Spring Gala, May 2017

Inspired by Duke Ellington’s quote proclaiming the Morris-Jumel Mansion the “Jewel of Sugar Hill,” the Museum’s Spring 2017 fundraising event will transform the Mansion and Roger Morris Park into the hottest social gathering since the Roaring Twenties.

At the Mansion’s second annual on-site gala, guests will imbibe custom cocktails while sampling passed hors d'oeuvres by Nova Catering and enjoying live music provided by The Dewdrop Society. The highlights of the evening will be performances by burlesque dancer Karina Libido and sideshow performer Adam Realman with special guest host Sir Richard Castle. This event will also serve as the unveiling of recent conservation work throughout the Museum.

The evening will support the diverse array of public programming presented by Morris-Jumel Mansion.

Morris-Jumel Mansion is a proud member of the Historic House Trust of New York City
and partner of the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation.

Events are supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, in partnership with City Council and Borough President, Gale Brewer and Councilman, Ydanis Rodriguez.
