Undergraduate & Graduate Tour with our Curator
For undergraduate and graduate level classes, the Morris-Jumel Mansion offers a unique and personalized tour with our curator, Kelsey Brow. Ms. Brow, a graduate of the Bard Graduate Center for Decorative Arts, Design History, and Material Culture, has lectured at museums and conferences around the country, and has several publications. Past tours have covered decorative arts, urbanization of New York City, material culture, food history, museum studies, and costume and textile history.
Tours are not offered on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
It may be possible to schedule the tour after normal museum operating hours.
Cost: $8 per student. Professors are free.
Schools must pay a deposit of $35 per class at least two weeks in advance of their scheduled trip before their reservation will be considered final.
If you book a tour, you must agree to our terms: if your school group cancels with less than 48 hours of the reserved date and time or no show the day of the tour you agree to pay $35.00 per class.
