Voices Beyond Bondage: African-American Poetry in the 19th Century

Editors Fidel Louis and Erika DeSimone will discuss and read selections from their recently published collection Voices Beyond Bondage: An Anthology of Verse by African Americans of the 19th Century, shining much-needed light on an overlooked portion American literary history. $15 per person, $10 for members.
