Lecture - Foodies of the Past: 19th-Century Food Culture

As the wealth of the nation grew, so did interest in fine food. In “Foodies of the Past,” MJM Assistant Curator and food historian Kelsey Brow will discuss the 19th-century democratization of food culture and the emer- gence of the “foodie.” Tastings—and kale!— will be included.

Admission: $15, $10 members/students. Advanced registration is required.
