Dance - The Congress of Vienna...Dances!

An afternoon of dance from the time of the Napoleonic Wars

Join us for an afternoon of early nineteenth-century dances drawn from
the major countries participating in the wars of the 1810s and the
peace conferences in Vienna and Aix-la-Chapelle.  Enjoy English
country dances, French quadrilles, and dances popular in Prussia,
Austria, and Russia as well!  No experience or partner needed -- all
dances will be taught.  Light refreshments will be served.  Dancing
percepted by dance historian Susan de Guardiola.

Late 18th or early 19th century costume encouraged!

$25 per person, advance registration strongly suggested as space is
