Opening Reception- Wax and Plaster: The Illusionistic Encaustic and Venetian Plaster Paintings of Mike McMath

Join us for the opening of our winter exhibition focusing on the practice of infusing pigment into a medium intended to enhance or decorate structural surfaces. Roots of such practices are found throughout the ancient Mediterranean world and with specific references found at the Morris-Jumel Mansion.
