Docents at the Mansion share the history of the house and grounds through guided tours. Weekly tours are held at 12:00 pm on Saturdays and the first Sunday of every month at 1:00 pm. Docents also give private tours during the week and additional weekend times depending on necessity. Docents must attend a general house tour training as well as any exhibition related training sessions. We also offer monthly workshops with staff to inform docents and volunteers of everything going on at the Mansion.
Volunteers help with a variety of tasks and assist visitors during their time at the Mansion. Volunteering can include helping in the gift shop, assisting staff during public programs, facilitating projects during family workshops, and more. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please be sure to include any specific interests on the form below.
