This summer on the second Saturday of each month enjoy free family yoga, tours, and educational activities at Manhattan's Oldest House. All events are free and open to the public.

Yoga | 10:00am Calm your mind and stretch and strengthen your whole body with our summer yoga series held in the serene gardens of Roger Morris Park.

Bilingual Family Tour | 11:00am Learn about the history of the Mansion in this free, bilingual (Spanish, English) tour for families.

June | Flag Day

Discover the history of the flags that have flown over the Morris-Jumel Mansion and New York City, and design your own personal banner to hoist

July | Colonial Ice Cream

Take a break from the summer heat and make your own colonial inspired ice cream! Learn all about the history of ice cream during the 1700’s, and the many different unusual flavors colonists enjoyed. Then make your own colonial flavored ice cream, such as lavender, or a classic flavor, like vanilla.

August | 19th-Century Fans

Summer heat got you down? Decorate your own 19th century fan to help beat the heat with a bit of personal flair

September | Battle of Harlem Heights

Washington has taken over the Mount Morris estate! Commemorate the Battle of Harlem Heights and General Washington’s time at the Mansion
