Paranormal Historical Investigations at the Morris-Jumel Mansion

Featured on GHOST ADVENTURES, HAUNTED USA; NEW YORK, and the TODAY SHOW, the Morris-Jumel Mansion is perceived by many as a paranormal conquest and has attracted academics and investigators such as Hans Holzer, Zak Bagans, the Tennessee Wraith Chasers, and now you! Learn the basics of ghost hunting with resident paranormal investigators and TAPS Family members, Vincent Carbone and Christopher Davalos, while possibly communicating with some of MJM’s former residents. The evening begins with a discussion of paranormal theory and the history of Manhattan's Oldest House. Guests then transition into a full investigation where they will learn the history of the Mansion, its former residents, and interesting facts about the museum collection. Refreshments are always included!

Our bi-monthly investigations are three hours in length (8pm-11pm) and are open to the public. This event is strictly for those 18 and over. Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing.

Public investigations will resume in September, but until then Private Paranormal Investigations are available upon request.

The Morris-Jumel Mansion is proud to also offer guests their own private paranormal investigations! Private investigations are $50 per person, per hour with a two hour minimum. Suggested group size no more than 20 but can be as little as one person. When booking a private investigation, a $50 deposit must be made to secure the guest's desired date and time. A reservation for a private investigation can be cancelled up to 48 hours prior to the reservation. After 48 hours, the guest forfeits their $50 deposit but it can be applied to another investigation. The investigation can begin shortly after the museum closes. 4pm Tuesday - Friday, 5pm Saturday - Sunday. Investigations must end by midnight.

Please check the events listing on our website for more information on upcoming investigations or email
